Started with a phone screen with HR. Then I made it to the Teams Meeting (this was during Covid) and was interviewed by a panel: the Director of Corporate Engr, Process Dev Manager, and the Senior Process Engineer who was retiring from the role. Interview was supposed to be an hour but went to 1.5 hrs. Asked me mainly bs behavior-based questions and I had to respond with a cookbook STAR answer. They basically looked snobbishly at me like they never wanted to even talk to me the whole time. They probably were thinking I was way too young since the engineer I would be replacing was retiring with 30+ years. The job posting said 10+ yrs experience which I had, but if they wanted 20+ yrs they should've just made that clear. Anyways, this job was going to be less money with a lower-brand company, so it didn't matter I didn't get the offer.
