Several conversations with manager followed by a cross functional interview. Very friendly and knowledgeable team. The company is great and has a strong pipeline. Highly recommend interviewing with this company as soon as possible.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Kura Oncology
Interview
Standard, first interview was with HR, the next interview was with the manager, the next interview was a "panel" interview, with 4 back to back interviews with directors of the clinical department. Standard amount of time between contact. Not a lot of transparency as to the steps in the process though. I had to reach out after a few weeks to check the status of the interview process and they were still interviewing and needed to meet to debrief and decide. And it took over a week for me to hear back after they were initially supposed to decide, It would be wonderful if the company told me they were no longer interested when they extended an offer to someone else.

Question 1
Very traditional interview questions. Tell me a time when you had to take an analytical approach to a problem and how you approached it and solved it. Tell me a time when you had an issue across different departments and how you resolved it. And then a few questions about taking negative feedback or constructive criticism.
First interview is a 15-minute phone screen by HR, the second interview is also through phone but more detailed by one of their PhD scientist followed by an on-site interview. Everybody was very welcoming and polite during the interview process, follow-ups were quick too.
