      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Kuwait University (Kuwait City) in May 2024

      Interview

When I applied for a teaching assistantship in Kuwait University, it was an easy and friendly interview. Following my application, I was called to an in-person interview with five members of faculty. They first started by asking questions about my physics background and previous teaching experience. I shared how I spent time tutoring in physics and having my classmates comprehend things that were pretty hard. Most of the questions were on my communication skills, teaching enthusiasm, and engaging students. They also asked how I would handle common challenges, like helping struggling students or managing different abilities in lab sessions. I have highlighted my patience, adaptability, and interactive teaching methodologies. They further explained the responsibilities that the post will entail: supervision of labs and assisting in lectures. They encouraged me to ask questions. The interview was friendly and based on an explanation of my passion for teaching and support to students.
