I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at LDS Philanthropies (Provo, UT) in Aug 2018
Interview
Very casual, but don't show up dressed casually! The interview was mostly behavioral questions, all necessary training can be completed on the job. LDS Philanthropies is affialiated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, so you should expect the situation to reflect those values. It was really important for me to have researched LDS Philanthropies and to understand what their purpose is. That also helped me enjoy the work by helping me understand what the mission I contributed to.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at LDS Philanthropies
Interview
Fill out application online, get called in for a face-to-face interview, if that goes well they have a "mock call" to see how you handle yourself on the phone. Not a skills test they want to see if you are comfortable, they will train you.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
At the telefund you will be raising funds for BYU. During the mock call portion of the interview, you participate in a sort of role play asking a fake alumni for a donation. They will say no, and give some excuse.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at LDS Philanthropies (Rexburg, ID) in Mar 2013
Interview
There were some questions about character and past work experience but nothing too exciting. They want candidates who are empathetic and good listeners, so they might do a role play to see if you have those qualities. The better you know the employers the easier the interview is.
