I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at LMI
Interview
Completely unprofessional. These people expect you to drop everything for them for every phone call and keep them informed of every development, but do not even pretend to bother to return the favor. I have been through two rounds of interviews with them over the past year. In both cases their timeframes were inflexible, and their responsiveness after the fact was negligible. I did not receive the positions, and that is a fact of life, but I was hoping to receive that news in a timely and considerate manner. One time after waiting over a month for a decision I was told would take two weeks, I called the recruiter for a status update. Instead of taking my call, she hung up without answering and then immediately sent me an email with the news 30 seconds later. The second time was an interview with two people over Zoom. One did not even set up his camera, which was awkward as hell, and the other dressed up like a slob in a T-shirt and sweat pants whereas I had put on a button down shirt and a blazer. Was told to expect a decision quickly, and then waited two months and had to call in again. The really annoying part was that it was they who initiated contact, and I made every effort to pick up the phone, call back as soon as I could, or respond to their emails as quickly as I could I am not saying I was entitled to a job offer, but if you want to be treated respectfully as a candidate, look elsewhere.
It was fairly straightforward and well-structured, with two people interviewing me at the same time. The recruiter was great, and team gave helpful insight into the role I could potentially be stepping into.
Very easy to coordinate with HR and other staff members participating in the interview process. Initial screening interview consisted only of basic admin and biographical information. Second round and third round interviews consisted mostly of questions regarding past work experience and current role.
Easy non profesional.. just looked at my resume and didn’t bat and eye on asking technical questions. Offered me the job on the spot which I took but should have known better.
