      Business Development Executive Interview

      8 Apr 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Chicago, IL
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at LaSalle Network (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2026

      Interview

The overall interview process was quick and straightforward. I started with an initial phone screening with a recruiter, then moved on to a second-round phone interview that included more in-depth questions. After that, I was invited to a final, in-person interview where I met with two individuals, including the CEO and a Vice President. While the process itself moved quickly, I found the interview experience to be less effective than expected. During the final interview, one interviewer arrived about 10 minutes late, which limited the time we had to discuss my background and the role. Additionally, the interviewer checked their phone multiple times throughout the conversation, which made the interaction feel disengaged and unprofessional. Following the final interview, it took over a week to receive a decision. While I understand that timelines can vary, more consistent communication throughout the process would have improved the overall experience. In the end, the process is efficient, but there are opportunities to improve the candidate experience through more attentive interviews and clearer communication.
