      Recruiter Interview

      3 July 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at LaSalle Network in June 2018

      Interview

The interview process was disorganized to say the least. First, my internal recruiter had to reschedule my initial call with her multiple times for unknown reasons. I understand unexpected things come up, but it was obvious from the beginning that speaking with me about my qualifications for the position were not a top priority. After finally speaking with her, I was set up for a FaceTime interview with someone in Human Resources. I prepared for the interview and about 10 minutes before the interview was suppose to take place, I got an email saying they would have to reschedule the interview. After rescheduling this interview, I was given a homework assignment of answering a few questions in depth and also creating a powerpoint presentation. This took me approximately 5-6 hours to complete. I sent this off for review only to get a call a few days later saying "I apologize but we have had a change in profile for what we need in the office currently and are now looking for people with experience. This was a call from a higher up and I did not catch it before we started your interview process." Keep in mind this job posting was for an entry level recruiting position that required a bachelors degree and basic skills like time management, Microsoft office functions, networking skills, etc. Overall, I would think a staffing organization would have better organization in their hiring process considering the job they do, but who am I to judge?
