Salary mentioned verbally after initial interview with hiring manager was a lot lower than advertised in job posting which is very misleading. Was immediately rejected after attempting to ask for a salary more in the range of the job posting. Informal interview with a low difficulty level. More of an interview to get to know you and your experience. The hiring manager sent an email for an interview quickly after I sent my application.

Met with the PI and a grad student I would be working with. I was also given a tour of the lab and met the other employees and students.
