I was contacted by phone and after an interview, invited to attend a second interview with the manager. I have been advised that new stages with HR would be via Skype and if invited to go personally it would mean a last stage with the manager of this department.
The manager has sent me 2 calendars invitations, but both failed and I had to advise them 3 times about the failure and then an interview has been scheduled.
I’ve got there 10 minutes in advance but the interview has been delayed in 10 minutes.
I was conducted to an empty room where I’ve been waiting for extra 15 minutes.
The HR Manager conducted this recruitment but the manager confirmed to conduct this interview with her, didn’t show up.
This interview could be conducted via Skype but they don’t care about people’s time.
I had to pay R$ 84.00 to commute and they don’t even offered a refund for these expenses due their lack of communication.
When I asked them about what happened and why the manager just didn’t show up, the HR manager advised me that she liked me so much and for that reason she didn’t notice the time has passed and that’s why the manager didn’t show up.
Are the managers trained to optimize their calendars and time? (Basic skills to become a manager)
Today I’ve received an email advising the company’s and mine expectations were not aligned and I was not an option anymore.
Anyway, I am not interested to work for them, but the irony is: How is the manager so happy with my interview and after a serious mistake they just refuse a candidate because they just disrespected me and they don’t want to deal with it?
