I met first with the department head for a screening interview. After that, I had a full day of interviews with Portland shareholders. Following those interviews, I traveled to Seattle and met with several Seattle area shareholders in my area of expertise, as well as senior management. Once the interviews were completely I was given an offer. The process was not difficult, but it was very thorough. The fact that it was thorough was important to me, because that told me the firm vetted potential hires seriously.
