I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at LatentView Analytics (Chennai) in Jan 2014
Interview
They were a regular recruiter from our campus. There two telephonic rounds initially.
First round was a general HR round, where we were asked questions like why Analytics and Why LatentView. It was short and the head HR took that interview.
The second round was a bit more technical. They started probing more into your strengths to understand how good you are in things which you claim you are good at. For example they drilled me with questions in SAS.
Based on this round a shortlist of the applicants were made and we visited Chennai office for the final round.
This was a difficult one. There were two interviewers, they started the interview by asking me write a code for calculating LCM and GCD. The interview went for almost an hour.
Having good knowledge of python , sql is important , having data science , machine learning , visualization tools like power bi , tableu knowledge is plus .
overall good .
Good process with 1 coding round, 2 tech rounds (F2F] and 1 HR round. It mostly basic Excel, SQL, Data Analytics and Python. The whole process was done in 1 day
Moderate to difficult. Was quite lengthy. There were two rounds; first round was fairly easy and I got through it but couldn't qualify in the second one. Those who did, shared that the final HR round was fairly manageable as well. Overall the experience was average.
