You know what’s fun? Spending hours preparing for an interview process — having an initial chat, completing a detailed case study — only to get a rejection email that starts with:
“Thank you for our enjoyable conversation.”
The problem?
We never actually spoke.
Not once.
I get that recruitment is busy. I get that templates save time. But if a company can’t even keep track of who they’ve actually spoken to, it doesn’t exactly scream “attention to detail.”
It’s not even about the rejection — that’s part of the game. It’s about the experience. The effort people put in deserves at least a genuine, human response.
