      I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Leeds Building Society in Feb 2025

      Interview

      There was an initial 15-20 minute screening phone call where I was asked general questions about my CV and what I knew about Leeds Building Society. I then had to complete two McQuaig tests one about problem solving and one about my personality. I was then invited to an in-person competence based interview which lasted around an hour and included a role play scenario. All information for the role play was supplied in the interview and I was given 10 minutes to prepare for it.

      5-10 minute phone interview, I was told at the end of the call I would be told of the next stage after I had completed a mcquaig test. Never heard anything back and contacted the careers team via email to follow up and again never heard anything back. Didn’t expect to be “ghosted” by a fairly big company.

      Fairly extensive checks that made the process stretch over a couple of months, but the interviews themselves were standard. I had a telephone interview and then an in person interview before being offered the job.
