It was an initial screening call where we discussed my CV, interests, and general problem-solving approach. Toward the end of the call, I was asked whether I had experience with LangChain. I shared that I was familiar with the concept but did not yet have hands-on experience. I was told at the time that this would be acceptable, especially as the job description also indicated that LangChain experience was not a strict requirement.
Later that same day, I received a rejection, with the reason given being my lack of hands-on experience with LangChain. While the conversation itself was pleasant and professional, the outcome felt slightly inconsistent with what was communicated during the call.
