I applied online. I interviewed at LeoVegas Group (Stockholm, Stockholm) in June 2026
Interview
1. HR Interview - Normal
2. Technical round with live code test
3. Technical round with design and core concepts
The interview process was professional, but I felt there was a mismatch between the role requirements and my profile. The feedback indicated that the position required hands-on experience with some technologies. However, my resume did not mention experience with either technology, so this could have been identified during the resume screening stage.
While I have a basic understanding of it, I never claimed hands-on experience. Proceeding through multiple interview rounds before identifying this mismatch resulted in unnecessary time and effort for both the interview panel and me.
I would suggest ensuring that resumes are screened more closely against the mandatory technical requirements before scheduling interviews. This would improve the experience for both candidates and recruiters. In fact, I couldn't share my feedback with their team as their feedback was received from a noreply email.

Scenario-based questions, performance-related stuff, and the difference between technologies
I applied online. I interviewed at LeoVegas Group (Málaga) in Mar 2025
Interview
The initial conversation with the recruiter from an external recruitment agency was friendly and professional. We discussed the role and agreed on the next steps after my planned one-week vacation.
After returning from vacation, I contacted her to continue the process, but I did not receive any response. A few days or week later, I received an automated email asking me to evaluate the recruitment process, which indicated that I was no longer considered for the position, without any direct communication or explanation.
The overall experience was disappointing, as I had invested time and effort in the process and expected clearer communication and a proper follow-up regarding the outcome.

Question 1
Could you tell me about your experience and background related to the role?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at LeoVegas Group (Stockholm, Stockholm) in Apr 2026
Interview
I went through an extensive multi-stage interview process across two separate role openings over several weeks. The technical assessment required significant time investment, a full data analysis case study and a separate SQL/Python test. While the HR was polite, candidates should be aware of the following:
Lack of transparency on the process stage on the first role, I was actively interviewing at round 2 while another candidate was already at the offer stage. The rejection came as 'candidate accepted the offer' meaning my time was spent on a process that was effectively already decided. This happened across two separate openings.
Communication gaps were significant after submitting the case study for the second role. There was a 10-day wait with no update beyond acknowledgement of receipt. For candidates investing this level of effort, timely feedback is a basic professional courtesy.
Domain experience appears to be a hard requirement that was not clearly communicated upfront. Candidates without direct iGaming background should clarify this before investing time in a lengthy technical assessment.
The technical bar is high and the process is thorough. If you have the right background it may be worth pursuing. But be prepared for slow communication, limited transparency on where you stand in the process, and the possibility that decisions are already made while you are still actively interviewing.
