Dreadful experience, filled out a lengthy assessment and then got to first interview which went really well, and then met with a rejection email. I noticed a couple of weeks later the job was being advertised again, so applied again, and after about 3 or 4 reschedules from them, I managed to have another interview, which was scheduled for 12:30 and at 12:30 i was emailed saying they had to cancel and reschedule. Finally had the interview and this time I managed to get through to the next round this time. I then had to do a gorilla test which then led me through to final interview with both of the founders where I was given very vague instructions to produce a 10 minute sales presentation. There was an attachment of one of their presentations. I then spent hours putting together a presentation that displayed how my skills, experience and passion for music could intertwine with the services that Liberty Music PR offer. I displayed my presentation and sales skills during this exercise, to then be told that I should have prepared a presentation where I pretended to be Liberty Music PR and the founders were the musicians, like I was pitching their services. Whenever I asked the recruiter or the founders questions about the role, I was given very short and non descriptive responses. I was then told that they had other meetings to get to, they could tell that I was passionate about music and that the recruiter would get back in touch to give me feedback. I didn't get this, so I chased it up and then was emailed the same rejection letter that I'd been sent the first time around. This is absolutely astounding to me how many hours work i've put into an application for a job that is freelance and commission only, to then be completely and utterly ignored without any actual feedback. This was enough for me to realise that I did not want to work for such a terrible company that are supposed to be in the business of communication!
