The most shockingly unprofessional, disorganised, debacle of an 'interview' I have ever attended and it actually ended with me being stranded in an unfamiliar town. I got through the first sit down interview and set of questions so was invited to a recruitment day. When I got there we were each assigned an interviewer and told we could leave anytime or be 'terminated' at any time. Fine, next however we were driven by the other guys's interviewer to Harlow, a good 45 minute drive away from my town of Chelmsford. This is where it starts to go very wrong . Myself and my guy got dropped off in a residential neighbourhood to go knocking on doors trying to sell energy, which it turned out we couldn't even do because my INTERVIEWER didn't have a log in on their system because he hadn't submitted any proof of address to the company. We ended up getting an uber to the nearest bank so he could get a bank statement and send it to head office then got another one back while I was given two completely menial logic problems to write in a notebook as we walked along. I was thinking it was part of the test as the whole time the guy was very stand offish and seemed to be making a point of walking 7 paces ahead of me even asking me to carry his high vis in my handbag. Apparently not. We get another taxi back to the residential neighbourhood and ended up sitting on a bench next to a bin to wait for his log in because there were no cafes or anything to speak of nearby. Then he lets slip the job is commission only. I'm not really up for that as I tentitively let him know and the way he responded was frankly disgusting. 'Why are you scared of hard work then?' 'What you just want to be a robot instead of your own boss' 'you mean to tell me you're too scared basically!' Were the highlights, but when he said 'well I've been here two months now I'm managing director of my own team on 150k a year' I had smelled enough bull for the day and said that's it I'd like to leave. So he just says bye and gets up to go! I asked him how on earth I was getting back to Chelmsford then so he called his boss, who told him to call another boss, who didn't answer the phone, and as soon as I said I would try the office he was off to go knocking before they even answered, which they never did because the 2 numbers online and in my emails from them were both disengaged! I emailed the receptionist and never got any kind of response so I was basically stranded. My dad had to leave work to come and get me which meant I was waiting for an hour and a half and the only place to wait was a BETTING SHOP. I had to put what little money I had on a few horse races to stay in the warm. I ended up £27.50 up, but I was truly disgusted with liberty outsourcing on many levels. STAY AWAY
