Total interview process took approximately 2 months, and there were a total of 9 conversations in total over the course of the 2 month process. Each step of the way required follow up to the HR recruiter to get information on next steps and scheduling of next conversation. First 3 conversations were remote meetings via Teams, remainder of conversations were in person in the offices in Union. NJ. Each conversation flowed well and included questions around my work history as well as explaining the job in detail. No information around benefits provided. After 2 months, I had to follow up a total of 3 times with the recruiter to just get a reply, to which I got a 2 sentence email with zero feedback on why they decided to move forward with another candidate. I know this isn't required of an employer, but for a senior leadership position and 2 months worth of conversations it sure would have been a nice thing to not have to chase after next steps and understand a little on what I might have missed the mark on so I can continue to use helpful feedback to further advance my career.
