I had an HR phone screen which all sounded positive and never received any kind of follow-up afterwards, despite emailing the HR partner directly. The job ad was withdrawn and re-posted with some role changes. Obviously they had re-assessed what they were after based on the applications they were receiving - this is fine. However all candidates deserve a response once they have been engaged in any form of screening/interview.
