Applied online and HR reached out to me. Lifion is a small company that was acquired by ADP, but Lifion maintains their independence as much as possible. The interview process includes One 15 minute phone screening with HR, a second 30 minute Web Session with a technical resource (PM, SM, PO). A third F2F with three people for 2 hours. Finally a fourth 3 hour F2F session with 6 people. 10 people in total. They definitely make decisions by committee. I come from the financial sector (investment and commercial banks), so while I can adapt to the start-up narrative of hand holding and coddling co-workers, my answers leaned more toward the banking approach where you are required to do your job minus convincing. I was hoping to leave the banking sector, even for less money. They claimed it was a lack of Agile experience but I believe during the last round someone felt I just wasn't a fit for the company. I say this because prior to the fourth interview I was contacted by HR regarding salary and sent the benefits package (something about Lemurs). I believe my age may have played a factor (very few people over 35). Bank of America just extended an offer to me so back to the banks I go. In closing, I think Lifion may be a great place to work. Lots of tech savvy people which is a plus. All the people I met during the interview were very nice and polite.
