Interview
I interviewed with the Senior Vice President of Creative and Content. The interview was pretty standard - we discussed my experience and I presented my portfolio. I was working for another OOH company at the time so a lot of the time was spent discussing differences/similarities between my role and the role at Lightbox. I was asked to do a design test and was told that my portfolio and design test were being presented to the head of marketing.

Interview
Things went pretty normal, recruiter screen then two zoom interviews. After that is where it all went downhill, they asked me to come in person to meet with three more people. They scheduled me on a day where one of the people wasn’t in the office, so I talk with the two that were present and was assured that they would set up a zoom with the third person. Instead they asked me to come in person again to meet with the third person and wouldn’t agree to do it over zoom like previously promised despite the fact that I have to take the train in and I’m not the closest. After all 6 interviews that I went through I was told they would let me know by the end of that week if I got the job or not. Over a month later and I haven’t heard from them since. This is hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had as a candidate and can’t imagine how people who actually work there are treated. How do you ghost someone after 6 interviews?

Interview
Overly long and drawn out
1) Phone call with HR
2) Video call with HR
3) Video call with future boss
3.5) Sending work samples from previous 2 jobs years ago
4) In-person interview with boss' boss
5) Assignment to do at home
6) In-person interview with CEO (didn't make it this far)
After all this, they wouldn't give me an explanation as to why they didn't choose me and told me to stop contacting them any further.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Standard questions on experience and ability.
It wasn't so much on what they asked but the whole overly long drawn-out process that left me defeated, especially without an explanation to the rejection.
