WORST interview process of my life.
I got scheduled an interview and when the day came the interviewer didn't show up, I sent many emails but none got replied.
I got completely ghosted even though they showed interest at first and scheduled an interview.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lighthouse in July 2024
Interview
Someone from the company’s technical team contacted me through Linkedin, interested on my profile, refering me to the opportunity.
Once in the first HR interview by July the 11th, I did not have time to speak and I was asked to clear out why "that many job switching", which is pretty common in the industry and introduce myself (I made a pretty normal pitch summarising my experience which is quite extense though, so I was humble on that).
Next day, received a cold email from Talento Recruiter stating she did not like my communication style and background and was proceeding with candidates closer to what she expects for that role.
I do own 7 years of experience on Data Engineering and I have worked for some of the biggest companies on the planet, while I doubled role expectations in technical terms.
My attitude was good and even asked for how business works, B2B and B2C offering, and about the previous name of the company as well. So I had actual interest for the role, but based on my background (absolutely subjective), was acussed of not having interest on the role and that HR Recruiter thought I would be quitting soon (What?).
The interview process could have not been conducted worsr, by a junior recruiter interviewing senior candidates and judging their background to decide if they do have the right to join the company or not, based on subjective judges.
I asked for a second opinion and to escalate this concerns to Hiring Manager but received bold statements as a response, both from technical member that contacted me first (to the one I asked to escalate my concerns to Hiring Manager) and by this recruiter.

Question 1
Can you introduce yourself? Why that many jobs switching?

I was reached out by the recruiter offering me a position as Senior Data Engineer. I had my first HR meeting, and I was later rejected. The reason for the rejection was that my English level wasn´t proficience.
