I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Lightspeed (Montreal, QC) in June 2021
Interview
The application process was concise and took no effort being able to quickly apply using LinkedIn. The interview was thorough and gave me an insight as to how things are done at LightSpeed. Being able to meet and open a dialogue with more than one significant staff member early on is valuable and I appreciated this. Explanations were clear, and a lot of attention was given to making sure that if something wasn't, I felt at ease to ask.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
If you were invited to a pot-luck, what would you bring?
First phone call was an HR screening, then it was an interview. The second interview was intimidating, first half was behavioural questions, generic interview questions. The second half was a mock call.

Question 1
what is an advantage and a disadvantage of hiring you?
I applied online. I interviewed at Lightspeed (Montreal, QC) in Jan 2026
Interview
Overall, my recent interview experience was okay, but I did feel the recruiter was rushing through the process. While the questions were straightforward and based on my experience, I didn’t get the sense of a real conversation or a warm environment. I think that left me feeling a bit off balance
