A bit unprofessional. I was called for a telephonic discussion by HR. A day before the interview, the job posting was removed from the website, so got an idea that the position is either filled or canceled. On the day, HR was disengaged from the beginning. She didn't have the courtesy to explain the position, company, etc. but directly asking questions about my experience. The discussion hardly went on for 10-12 mins and she asked do you have any questions. That time I knew this interview is not going anywhere. A couple of days later I got a rejection email. If the position is filled please have the decency to tell us that position is filled and so we have to cancel the interview. I would totally understand. Our time has value too. A bit of success for such companies really speaks about their arrogance.
