I was told to expect a call for a phone interview at a certain time but didn't receive it until over an hour later. The interviewer said she was in a meeting. I was asked a series of very basic questions about myself and my background. I was thinking I was going to be asked more specific skill questions related to the job. Instead, the questions were very broad and almost identical to the ones I answered on their online application. I was told by the interviewer that she'd talk to her supervisor and get back to me. I never heard back. I feel like had a more tech-savy person who asked more specific questions had done the interview I might have gotten an offer. It turned out to work out well for me in the end, as ended up taking a job for almost twice the pay within the same field.
