I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Linqia in June 2018
Interview
After passing the initial screening and phone interview (shared screen coding), I received a mail saying they were moving forward with me and asked me to give them my availability for the onsite interview. I did that and also asked them about a few queries I had. However, they never got back to me. In fact, throughout the process I was directly communicating with the Manager via email, but he completely stopped responding to my emails. I did not even get a rejection mail. I've heard about companies coming up with various reasons for rescinding offers before, but completely ghosting the candidates was something new that I experienced with this company.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Initial screen was more of theoretical and conceptual questions on OOP, multi-threading, REST webservices. The coding round consisted of easy/medium level questions on DS and algorithms.
Manager reaches out directly and then the phone screen. This is like the worst company that I have interviewed for. Manager has a very thick accent and is literally going for a full blown rapid fire interview. He asked me randomly questions from my resume which was still fine. I lost it when he was asking me random hard to medium level leetcode questions with no where to code. He just wanted the pseodo-code on the phone. Then finally he ghosted me. Even if they would have called me for next round . I would never go. Stay Away.!
