I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lionheart Sports (Vancouver, BC) in Dec 2020
Interview
The entire process took 3 weeks only because we had the holiday season in the middle of it. I had chance to do 3 interviews: the first one with the CEO by phone call and the other two on a video chat with sales and HR.
Through the entire process they were very polite, prompt to listen my stories and answering my questions. They explained everything I should expect and how the team works.
In the first interview, they asked "what was my greatest weakness". I said that one of them was my strong accent and that i was working on that. They immediately said that it was not a problem at all, that it is part of who I am and something to be proud of. I was so glad to hear that and I will never forget it. Unfortunately with COVID situation they had to stop the hires for now but I can say that it was a good experience.

Interview
Was interviewed by one of the sales guys and then the CEO. CEO spent the whole time talking about how great he is or how lazy everyone in Vancouver is. He’d ask me a question and as soon as I started talking he’d lose interest and start talking about something else.
When I asked questions about benefits (which there is none), company culture, etc he would get really defensive and start blaming and talking negatively about society and Canadian work culture. Big red flags everywhere, it was such a joke.
Thank you for your response on your interpretation of our interview process here at Lionheart Sports. Whilst again my suspicions are that this is the same individual leaving numerous reviews and comments in some mission to misguide future candidates, something which Glassdoor has done nothing about. As the CEO of Lionheart Sports I can confidently say that we are very transparent, open and honest during our interview process. We absolutely do have more senior members of the company have involvement in the process in order to give their own experience and different viewpoints throughout our hiring process. We have extended one offer within the past month to an individual who is now embarking on their career with Lionheart. Thus this for me being another red flag (there has been no offers declined). As a growing organization as with any other company work ethic is very important to us and this is something that is made clear during our interview process. I strongly urge any future candidates to not let these reviews effect any opportunities you do have to interview with us and to put yourself in a position to make your own judgement based on our performance as a company during your own interview and potential employment at Lionheart. We are constantly looking for individuals that posses and are not scared of having a strong work ethic, drive and who are prepared for a challenge
