Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your interview experience with us. In order to facilitate communications with members of our Engineering team in Eastern Europe, we have a policy that employees have to commit to which is to be available between 8 and noon CST. We allow for maximum flexibility outside this listed window, of course in consultation with the team and manager.
This policy is communicated in the job description, the application questions, and in your first conversation with us. Since all communication in your case went via an external recruiter, we did not have full control over what was shared and what was not. In retrospect, we should have double-checked that the working hours were discussed from the onset. For direct hires, we make a point of making sure that this requirement does not become a blocker down the line, and we can understand that it is frustrating that this came as a surprise to you.
