The interview process consisted of an assessment, 5 individual phone conversations lasting 30 minutes each, followed by a group presentation. Prior to the interview I completed an extensive amount of research on both Lithium and the company’s ownership, Vista Equity Partners, which gave me a general idea of what to expect. I was incredibly impressed with each individual I spoke with, from the recruiter to the C level. This is a very sharp, professional yet personable sales organization with true leadership and it was clear that a lot of thought went into their questions, which is consistent with the thoughtful, highly detailed and process oriented approach to sales found here. One VP asked 5 questions I had not considered before and had not come across in all my research. The best preparation would be thorough research on Lithium’s offering, who they are in the space, and then asking yourself if you would truly add value here, or are you just seeking a new job. This is not the place if it’s just another job. It’s a serious interview process; the assessment shouldn’t be taken lightly and thorough research should be performed prior to the interviews.
