I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lithium Technologies (Paris) in Oct 2018
Interview
I applied online and was contacted by a recruiter a week later. The initial screening with HR went very well, and the company seemed very interested in my subject matter expertise within the realm of social media & digital marketing. I was asked to take a employment assessment test which I passed. The team then scheduled a meeting with the direct hiring manager in Paris for an EAE role. The bulk of this interview was mainly focused on my sale numbers, sales performance metrics, and ability to close. We also discussed around cultural differences and my ability to sell in a foreign language and market; I am a bi-lingual French speaking American. After the interview, I did not receive or expect them to make an offer.

Question 1
Have you ever sold to a foreign market, specifically the French market before?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lithium Technologies (Austin, TX) in Apr 2018
Interview
The interview process consisted of an assessment, 5 individual phone conversations lasting 30 minutes each, followed by a group presentation. Prior to the interview I completed an extensive amount of research on both Lithium and the company’s ownership, Vista Equity Partners, which gave me a general idea of what to expect.
I was incredibly impressed with each individual I spoke with, from the recruiter to the C level. This is a very sharp, professional yet personable sales organization with true leadership and it was clear that a lot of thought went into their questions, which is consistent with the thoughtful, highly detailed and process oriented approach to sales found here. One VP asked 5 questions I had not considered before and had not come across in all my research.
The best preparation would be thorough research on Lithium’s offering, who they are in the space, and then asking yourself if you would truly add value here, or are you just seeking a new job. This is not the place if it’s just another job. It’s a serious interview process; the assessment shouldn’t be taken lightly and thorough research should be performed prior to the interviews.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lithium Technologies (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2013
Interview
I enjoyed the interview process mostly because it helped inform me on how I might anticipate differences in culture between my existing employer and Lithium. This was an important factor in my decision
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I would not say that there were unexpected questions. I think that it was important to Lithium that I had done some of my own research.
