In order to interview with schools, you must first apply and be approved by the district. An interview is conducted at the district office by someone in HR. They ask pretty simple questions. The more difficult questions come from the principals at schools once you are granted an interview.

Interview was easy and thorough. Know how to help students and show your passion. LRSD cares about their students and maintains a student/family/community centered focus. Interviews can be conducted by either lead teachers or principals. My interview was conducted by the department chair and was excellent.

Introductions between the candidate, principal, and assistant principal to start then the candidate is asked a few questions from a district interview question sheet. The candidate is given a chance to ask any questions at the end.
