I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Live Oak-Gottesman (Austin, TX)
Interview
The interview consisted of 2 meetings. One with the department heads and the other with an owner/partner. I was asked to fill out a job application form on the spot, it was a simple form. Both interviews were unstructured/conversational and they seemed to focus mostly on culture.
There was a three part essay about different values and approaches of Live Oak followed by a two part interview with four different staff members, two board members and two therapists.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Live Oak-Gottesman in June 2014
Interview
I found this company through LinkedIn and was contacted in a couple days. I had two interviews. The first was with my potential supervisor. She was very accommodating, as I was coming from out of town. The second interview was with the HR Manager and was a benefits discussion. Although I did not receive the job, I was given a thorough explanation of their decision and they even offered to pass my resume on to a company that they felt I would be happier with.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Most of the questions were pretty straight forward. The most unexpected question was what challenges I saw with the position. As this was a receptionist position, I wasn't thinking of challenges.
