I was recruited. Set up a time with someone from HR to talk to one of the founders. Mostly talked about experience and what we both are looking for, wasn't a match so didn't proceed to next steps
I applied online. I interviewed at Local Kitchens in June 2024
Interview
I applied online and heard back about a week or so later. I had an phone interview and overall they were really nice, asked me the standar questions, and gave me their timeline on next steps. I sent over a thank you and then about a week later, I sent a follow up email but never heard back. They totally ghosted me.
I interviewed at Local Kitchens (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
After a phone and zoom interview, I went into the office to interview with other staff members and was there for a whopping four hours -- interviewing with multiple people. One was exceptionally arrogant and argued with me about labor law, while I had more experience in the gray areas of how agencies actually handled things. He was super condescending and left the interview. Then I interviewed with the CEO, who was oddly serious and resistant to any of the options I gave to solve his current problems. No social skills whatsoever, especially when he asked odd questions like, what's the worst thing that's ever happened to you? You really want to know that, buddy? How inappropriate. Bad match for both of us.
