      Senior Data Scientist Interview

      23 Mar 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Montreal, QC
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Local Logic (Montreal, QC) in Feb 2026

      Interview

The process took several weeks, the lead engineering manager of data contacted me after I applied and took the time to check my availabilities for first HR screen. Then again for a technical call (use case thingy). Our exchanges were in French and felt informal in a good way. Then the whole thing ended after the first technical call with the manager sending me a very dry and standard rejection email, which I did not appreciate. I reached out to ask for feedback, of course with no answer. Not too mad about this rejection since I wasn’t impressed with the bad reviews of the company, but would’ve liked some feedback after the effort and time-off i took from my current job.
