I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Local Logic (Montreal, QC) in Apr 2023

      Interview

Several rounds of interviews, no coding or math exercise but an in depth technical interview with a few from the technical team. Asked questions about how I would approach problems they are facing, how I would design ML solutions, etc.

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Local Logic

      Interview

The process consists of an interview with the CEO of the company, then a call with the team, a technical interview and validation by the CEO. I made the first call with the CEO, after a good contact he told me that he would fix an appointment the following week. One month later, after two reminders from me, I received an automatic email. A waste of time ran away, this company doesn't respect candidates.

      Data Scientist Interview

      12 June 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Montreal, QC
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Local Logic (Montreal, QC) in May 2018

      Interview

Applied online they answered within 24 hours to schedule a phone interview. I was told the process was the initial phone screen followed by a technical interview remotely, and ending with an on-site technical interview for those who make it that far. For a small startup with less than 50 employees, you would think they would be able to provide feedback on whether the applicant will be moving onto the next steps, unfortunately, this never happened and they just leave you in the dark. The interview was extremely awkward with the interviewer failing to disclose that someone else was in the room telling her what to ask for the technical questions. It was pretty obvious as we could hear the background and the interviewer not knowing anything technical. It would be much better if they just disclose that two people will be conducting the interview -- 1 technical, 1 behavioral. Bad interviewer overall.
