It was a panel interview consisting of 4 people (vice principle, two grade level teachers, and school secretary. You will get a copy of the questions before hand and you will have about 15 min to review the questions. Then the panel will start the interview. There was about 10 questions regarding your interest in the position, strengths, classroom management, differentiation, meeting needs of all students, what a reading and math lesson looks like for you, relationship with students/parents, dealing with difficult bx’s, creating a safe enviornment, experience with plc’s, small groups.

I went to a job fair, then received calls from interested principals. I was able to meet with several principals for interviews at the schools. They all made a decision, and the district called with multiple offers so I could choose which placement I wanted. The process was pretty smooth and quick.
