Interview
I applied for a marketing assistant position. Many people (10+) were waiting to be interviewed when I showed up. The job description was nothing related to what the interviewer spoke about, and he actually seemed confused when I brought it up. I believe they were more interested in recruiting sales people.

Sat down with two "managers" who took me out in the streets of NYC. There was no actual mention of the job description. you just stand in the subway begging people for money for the humane society. SCAM.

THANK GOD I read these reviews before I went in for my interview..... they are 100% correct!
I arrived to my interview, and there were 4 or 5 other companies located in that office. I was ushered into the waiting room alongside multiple other young professionals while I waited. In my confirmation email, I was told I was meeting with the CEO or the Head of Hiring and I certainly didn't meet with either of those, I don't even know who I met with- he never gave me his name. My interview took less than 10 minutes and all he did was go over my resume. Then he starting drawing and talking about some "management track" that was extremely vague and made no sense. I was given no opportunity to ask questions, and salary/pay was not mentioned at all. I was called that evening, but no message was left and I got an email telling me the details of the second interview. It required me to be available from 9:30-5:30 to shadow someone... aka work for free. These reviews showed me what that entailed so I didn't go, and I received another email informing me that I could reschedule. Not happening.
I really felt bad for all of the other people in the room. Shame on LinkedIn for allowing this company to Shanghai people.
