Initial discussion with team, felt informal. The questions were not as technical as I was preparing for so caught me a bit off guard. Then a technical test with some web dev fundamentals in HTML JS and CSS. I feel like I didn't realize the onus was on me to delve into technicals and was waiting for specific questions.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Loughborough College (Loughborough, England) in Apr 2018
Interview
Friendly, relaxed environment didn't feel pressured but also felt valued and they gave a lot of time for interview - not rushed. really enjoyed the atmosphere. Highly recommend someone taking an interview there if they are offered. Good mix of genders in work place, though not well represented at interview stage (male dominant environment)
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Loughborough College (Loughborough, England) in June 2018
Interview
First I was given 45 mins and a laptop with internet connection in a quiet room on my own and I had to prepare a 10mins presentation on what is a training needs analysis and how would I explain to senior managers (who may have no idea of TNAs) what sort of information I need from them and how we can work together.
Then when I finished, I had to present this presentation in no more than 10mins to a board of about 10 people, which was followed by the actual interview conducted by 2 people (vice principal and head of HR).
