Phone interview with the recruiter, then hiring manager and an assignment after. The initial interview questions were to see if a good fit - the assignment was straightforward and everyone seemed nice.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lovevery (Boise, ID) in Nov 2020
Interview
I was contacted via LinkedIn by the company's talent lead/recruiter, J, because I "seemed to be a great fit". After completing an interview with her I was invited to interview with A, the hiring manager/director of partnerships. At the end of the second interview, I was told that I would move onto the next next round where I would meet the other influencer marketing team members and one of the co-founders. I did not have A's email address so I reached out to the recruiter to get it with the intent to send a 'thank you' note as I had done following the first interview. The recruiter took four days to return my email. In her reply she informed me that A didn't feel my experience was quite strong enough for the role and that stronger candidates would be moving forward. I received this disappointing email within a week of holiday - after being told I would be advancing - and two months later the role still hadn't been filled. Honest and prompt feedback would have made this interview (and rating) positive. Overall the interview was typical, though neither interviewee seemed completely well seasoned or comfortable jumping right in so the first 10-15 minutes felt like warm up intros, which caused the interviews to go over time.
