I applied online. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (Valdosta, GA) in July 2013
Interview
This was my second interview at Lowe's RDC so I kind of already knew what to expect, which made me more prepared in the end. I filled out applications repeatedly for just about any position they were offering until I got a call for an interview. They called me on a Monday and I was scheduled an interview for Friday. I got there and had a pleasant experience this time. I was treated nicely and the person who interviewed me was very kind. I didn't feel nervous or uncomfortable at all. The questions were either about past experience, behavioral, or scenario based questions. Nothing hard if you prepare yourself. You can find a few of the questions online. The interview lasted about 30 minutes maybe a little less. After we were done he told me that I did excellent! He also told me he was recommending me to the next step, which is the background check and drug test. He told me that this could take up to one to two weeks depending on how backed up they are. As of now I am still in the process of going through that so hopefully within the next week I'll be ready to start orientation. Preparation makes a huge difference. Prepare, smile, and show confidence. Do those things and you'll have a great experience.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (Raleigh, NC) in Sept 2015
Interview
They called and set up the interview. It went well. They were very straight forward about the requirements and what is going to be demanded of me. I appreciated that.
