I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Lucid Fusion (Costa Mesa, CA) in Feb 2019
Interview
Invited to a technical assessment that I was able to do in my own time. Then invited into a phone interview with the CTO, who asked some technical questions about what I know, and my process. From there, was invited to an on-site interview where I met the CTO and the main project manager. Overall very inviting process and clear communication from everyone
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How long do you spend trying to solve a problem before you ask someone else for help?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lucid Fusion (Irvine, CA) in Jan 2019
Interview
The screening process is a scam. As part of the screening process, I was asked to take an assessment test. They wanted me to develop a carousel from scratch that went in an infinite loop with a finite number of slides. I was given all the requirements in a Google Doc. I presented them with the assessment test. Then was a week later scheduled for a phone interview. That thief, CTO, be fried , was running late to the phone interview. Had no intentions of hiring me for my skills. I wasted my time after developing an entire website for his company to profit. Do not sign anything. Do not give them free advice. Beware of scam.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Lucid Fusion (Irvine, CA) in June 2018
Interview
Applied online and was quickly contacted by their recruitment team. The HR was extremely helpful and prompt and made sure to let you know where they were in terms of the hiring process.
Their hiring process appears to be your typical interview process. Initial phone interviews with HR and Hiring Manager then an on-site interview.
Questions were straightforward. They ask about your experience and situational questions.
The only negative experience from the interview process was that the position wasn't "open". Both the Hiring Manager and HR indicated to me that they had not finalized a budget and wasn't sure if they were hiring for the position. This applies to all the positions they are currently looking to hire. If you apply, just know that the position may not be available.
Looks like a cool company to work for though.
