Interview
I applied for a Test Engineer position 2 months ago and I received a call from HR, he asks me if I know the unit of Energy, Watts, yield point, unit of stress, unit of strain, etc. I got a second call with a manager from the Test Engineer department and he asked me a couple of questions, more focused on the projects that I have worked on, then I received an email that they wanted to interview a group of engineers. It was a 6-hour interview with the team they asked me more technical questions in which I answer correctly most of them, they asked me a couple of questions related electrical engineering area (I'm a mechanical engineer) does questions were out of my reach, but still, I tried to do my best to answer them. Overall when I finished the interview I felt pretty great I thought that the team really like me and that I was a great candidate. 2 weeks passed and I received an email that they won't be moving forward with me. I was really disappointed with the decision they made, I thought I did pretty well and how I managed the interview and still got rejected after taking a 6-hour interview. I really don't know what they wanted from me, they didn't even write any suggestion or commentary on the interview as some companies do. Overall I won't apply again for Lucid Motor. I think that the car is great and can be a great competitor for Tesla, but overall I think I was for the best they didn't take me in.

Interview
6 round total- didn't make it past the 3rd round technical interview. Usually asking fundamental engineering questions related to Lucid vehicles or their powertrain. My advice is to research some of their technical videos posted, since it will largely be based off of that. They will also ask technical questions related to your experiences and build conceptual questions based on your technical experience
