A recruiter for the company found my profile on LinkedIn and reached out to see if I would be interested or knew someone who would be a good fit to fulfill the job requirements. We arranged a phone screening interview. The recruiter was reticent to share much in the way of details. He indicated that the company was in stealth mode, growing fast and needed to put someone in the role quickly. Based on my research regarding startup funding, team development, market (primarily China) and the challenges and travel required to compete and achieve product milestones and development, I passed on the opportunity to continue the discussion further.
