The overall interview process was very positive and personal. I had opportunities to speak with a number of people from across the company. Everyone I spoke with engaged with me personally, which set Lucid apart from other companies. The interviewers truly wanted to get to know me and understand my experiences; they valued what I thought.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is one technology (an app, a piece of hardware, etc.) that you believe was revolutionary. Why was it revolutionary? What problem did it solve? How is it marketed? What type of business model does it run on? What technical challenges did it overcome?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lucid Software (Draper, UT) in June 2015
Interview
Typical interview. Came in, met a few people, then asked the typical job history questions. The most interesting part of the interview was when they started asking logic puzzles and word problems to watch me figure out.
