I applied on LinkedIn early October 2019 and received a HackerRank challenge a few days later by one of Lucid's campus recruiters. They gave me 10 days to solve and submit my solution. I submitted my solution and within a few days, a technical recruiter of theirs contacted me to set up a phone interview with one of their software developers. In this interview, I had to code a solution to three problems they assigned to me on my local environment. I was allowed to use my strongest language. The engineer that my interview was assigned to gave me a template with stubbed out methods for me to implement the solutions to. Two simple questions plus one elaborate question to be implemented in an hour. I successfully implemented the solutions and demoed my solutions to the engineer. Within 4 business days, the same recruiter got back to me to setup final round interviews. The final round interview consists of two portions, an hour each on algorithms and class modeling. Each session was conducted with two senior software engineers at the company. In the algorithm's session, I was given two LeetCode-ish problems to solve with some followups. In the class modeling question, they only presented me one problem, which I had to build an in memory model for. I have about 40-45 minutes to implement it as the last 15 minutes was used to ask questions and for each party to know the other better. After four business days, I was contacted by the same recruiter and she invited me to another 1 hour interview which has the same format as my first phone interview. I was a bit surprised as I thought it was already final round interview. Nevertheless, I did it and this time, I was presented just one question, but it was a challenging one. I solved it, demoed it and about a week later, I got a phone call from a senior recruiter of theirs and a few days later, they presented me an offer. Overall the whole process took a little more than a month. (mid October 2019 till third week of November 2019). While it was long, the thing I like the most about the process was that they were very prompt with their followups / responses. I was always given a callback no longer than one week after I have completed a round/session and they always answered my emails promptly. It gives me an impression that they are an efficient and responsible company!
