I applied online. I interviewed at Lumen in Oct 2020
Interview
After applying, I was sent the link to complete an "interview" online by video recording responses to questions. After being shown the question, you have 30 seconds to prepare a response before the recording begins. Afterward, you have the opportunity to re-record once before moving onto the next question. There were 6 questions in total followed by two games involving memorization and patterns.

Question 1
Workplaces often require the ability to cope with complex and changing environments; please describe a time when you had to adapt to a changing environment
Give an example of a time when you built a positive relationship with someone to achieve a better result or to solve a problem
Tell me about a situation in which you needed to make an important decision quickly but only had limited or conflicting information available
Doing the right thing is not always easy; tell me about a time you did what you thought was right even though it was the more difficult path
Tell me about a time when you received constructive criticism or feedback from someone on your performance that took you by surprise or differed from your own perspective
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Lumen
Interview
Absolute Joke. Over a 3 month period interviewed initially with HR then various Directors culminating in final interview with Senior VP then crickets. Still show as under consideration in HR portal but can't get a response from anyone about status. Internal personal (Director level) contact says this isn't uncommon. Don't waste your time with them, incredibly disorganized and unprofessional.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Usual management question about past performance, future go-to-market strategy etc
The interviewers don't respond to emails, follow-ups, or phone calls. Real humans are unresponsive and the jobs are not available. The company is not really hiring, they just want to drive traffic to their website.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe a situation where you had to learn a new skill or procedure
to complete a job successfully. Describe the situation, the skills you had to learn, and the outcome of the job. Make sure to use the STARL method, review the 10 minutes of videos with recommendations, and provide thorough examples of when you were successful and unsuccessful in navigating challenging situations.
