I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lumi
Interview
Initial conversation with engineering manager. Very nice person, gave me a positive impression of the people there, although implied that the atmosphere was a bit chaotic (not a surprise given the company’s status as a startup). Second conversation was with one of the execs. Very informal, long conversation, went just okay - again reinforced the early state of tue company and left me feeling that things could be a bit unpredictable and potentially disorganized. Never heard back after that.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Lumi in July 2021
Interview
(1) Initial phone interview with HR
(2) Interview with Director of Engineering
(3) Interview with a team member
(4) Present a project in Typescript
Overall I like the process, but I didn't make it to the end... it looks like they took down all positions and also laid off a lot of their developers.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
- HR interview is for fit
- Director is moreso asking technical stuff
Didn't make it past the second round as they seem to have laid off most of their developers on the team I was interviewing for as well as the recruiter and the positions were taken down.
