I was invited to the final stage of the interview process and was excited about the opportunity. However, communication afterward was poor, with no updates for an extended period. Eventually, I was informed that the role had been offered to someone else. While I understand that hiring decisions can be competitive, the lack of transparency and timely communication made for a disappointing experience. Clearer updates would have made the process more professional and respectful of candidates’ time.
