Luxottica Entry-Level Production Supervisor interview questions

Recruiter spoke faster than I could comprehend about the role and position. He seemed more focused on making a job sound better than it really is. He mentioned that it would be a great entry level role for recent graduates. He scheduled me to speak with the director and the production team. When the interview was conducted, I spoke with the Director and the Production Team and asked if it was possible to laterally move from Production Supervisor to being a Manufacturing Engineer role within the company later on after some time of working in a manufacturing environment. He told me “sure and absolutely”. The recruiter emailed me a week later saying “They loved everything about me and my energy, but felt I was more of a fit for an engineer position.” And proceeded to not follow through with moving forward.
