I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lynch Ambulance
Interview
You apply online, they'll get back to you within 1-3 weeks. Came in for a pre-employment exam which had 50 basic multiple choice NREMT style questions and a few fill in the blank/acronym identification. Right after the exam, you have a chill laid-back 15 minute interview with the administrator at Lynch. They'll email you if you pass the pre-employment exam and they'll follow up shortly with a panel interview date.
You go in for the panel interview with a operations supervisor and another person. They ask you 3 scenario questions and ask you to generally run through it and see what you would do. It's not crazy strict like the NREMT Medical Assessment. They just want to see if you have a general understanding of what to do. They then ask you a few other questions related to your character. Tell us about yourself, why do you stand out from other candidates, etc. Pretty easy interview.
Right after the interview, you wait for about 10 minutes and they'll let you know if you're hired or not. You get sizing for your uniforms, get your drug screen/medical assessment authorization, schedule a fitness test, and get the orientation dates for training.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Lynch Ambulance (Anaheim, CA) in Nov 2019
Interview
First you get an interview via phone and have to go in to take a test, after the test you also have a one on one Interview that is pretty easy and basic. Then they will call you to let you know if you passed the written test and if you have, then you schedule the panel interview. The panel interview is usually with two supervisors and it is basically a skills test. They give you a scenario and you have to walk them through what you would do. They help you out with small details if you are struggling but if you know the basic stuff, you are good.
