The recruiter contacted me regarding the role and asked my suitable time before giving the details about the job. The recruiter asked a few question about my background including my salary package. After sending the job description, I liked the role and provided couple of time slot for interview. During this time, recruiter mentioned that the max salary for this role would be 70% of my current package. I am not sure what's the purpose of the interview then.
